WEST YORK POLICE
DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION
The West York
Ambulance recently donated 2 Zoll AEDs to the West York Police Department. The AEDs will be put in the 2 patrol cars
that are on duty in West York Borough.
With the addition of this equipment all of the West York Police officers
will be trained in CPR and AED. Now if
the police respond to a cardiac arrest and would arrive before the ambulance
they can start CPR immediately and also have the AED available if needed. The cost of the 2 AEDs was in excess of
$2,000. Pictured at the presentation of
the AEDs to the West York Borough Chief of Police, Justin Sibel, are West York
Ambulance Chairman of the Board Rodney Drawbaugh (left), and West York
Ambulance President Dennis Reigart (right).
