Wednesday, July 7, 2010 1840 On Wednesday July 7th 2010 at 6:40 pm Valley City Fire department received a call for an MVA Involving a Motorcycle in the area of 2256 Abbeyville Rd. in front of Zion Lutheran Church. Engine-11, Heavy Rescue-18, Squad 17-1, and Squad 17-2 responded. On arrival units found 2 patients laying in the front yard who had been ejected from the motorcycle when it lost control. Both patients sustained multiple system trauma. Engine 11 set up a landing zone in the parking lot of Zion Lutheran Church. A MedFlight helicopter landed in the parking lot and flew one patient to Akron General Hospital. The other patient was transported to Southwest General Hospital by squad 17-2.
