Tuesday, March 6, 2012 Units were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire in the 13-4 box area, First arriving units reported 2 fully involved townhouses and immediately called for a 2nd alarm. Engine 112 picked up Engine 131's supply line and hooked up to a dry hydrant, without delay they were able to secure water supply on a hydrant just past the fire. Chief 11 was assigned fire attack and the crew from Medic 11 assisted with fire attack. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries. Units cleared around 7am

Monday, February 27, 2012 Units were alerted for a possible dryer fire in the 13-4 box Elizabeths Landing. Units arrival, with a middle of the group town house with nothing evident After investigating smoke was found on the first floor, with the resident reported that the dryer had caught fire and was spreading. The fire was contained to the basement

Sunday, November 27, 2011 Around 1700hrs units were alerted for the reported dwelling fire in the 800 block of Riverside Dr. While en route units were advised that there were reports of 1 person still in the dwelling. Engine 131 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 story dwelling. Battalion Chief 2 arrived and assumed command and field communications. The crew from E131 was assigned fire attack, while the combined crew of Lt.10 and Sq12 were assigned search. The search crew (Lt.10 & Sq12) located the person in a rear bedroom. The person was removed from the dwelling where she was handed over to the awaiting EMS crews and was transported to BWMC. While E112 was starting a secondary search of the dwelling, the first floor flashed over. Due to interior conditions deteriorating and the rapid fire spread, evacuation tones were sounded and all crews were removed from the dwelling. Crews continued to conduct exterior operations and all units remained on scene until approximately 2300 hours. 3 firefighters were also transported from the scene to BWMC for minor injuries and since then have all been released. Friday, November 25, 2011 2122 While getting fuel at Station 10 Squad 11 bid up on a possible dwelling fire in the 10-07 box on Bristol Channel Ct.. Engine 131 arrived with fire showing from the roof. Squad 11 arrived second and was assigned RIT duties. BC 2 took command and changed the assignment of SQ11 to knock the fire on the exterior on sides bravo and charlie. After knocking the fire on exterior the crew split with 2 going to roof to open up, were they found some extension into a void space, and 2 assisting with overhaul on the first floor. The crew from 13 made a quick knock on the fire and units cleared in approximately 2.5 hours

Friday, November 25, 2011 Squad and Medic 11 were dispatched to the intersection of Marley Neck Blvd And Ft Smallwood Rd for an MVC. Units arrived to find 3 cars involved. Medic 11 transported one person to Shock Trauma.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011 On November 9th at 1:15 PM, units from Jacobsville, Armiger, Lake Shore, Riviera Beach, Jones Station, Earleigh Heights, Orchard Beach, and Battalion Chief 2 was alerted for the dwelling fire. While crews were en route, fire alarm advised that they were receiving additional calls reporting fire showing from the basement window. Quint 30 advised that they had smoke in the area. Quint 30 arrived on location with heavy fire showing and the dwelling was 25% involved. Engine 104 arrived on location and captain 10 took command and field communications. Quint 30 was assigned fire attack. Engine 104 requested the 2nd Alarm at 1:23. Units on the second alarm included units from Marley, Glen Burnie, South Glen Burnie, BWI Airport and Orchard Beach. Fire attack advised basement fire knocked but needs crews with hooks. Confirmed All Clear. Squad 12 and Truck 13 with RIT. Fire Under Control. Quint 23 with vent. Command reported fire extinguished, awaiting FIB, and minor overhaul. Most of the 2nd Alarm assignment was canceled. All units were put available at 3:34. Saturday, November 5, 2011 Around 02:00hrs Units were dispatched for a reported Dwelling Fire on South Bend Rd. Engine 181 arrived with heavy fire from side A and B Squad 11 arrived and was given assignment to control the utilities once complete the driver filled several air bottles. Once clear the squad ran 2 more box assignments in the 1st Battalion.
