BOOT DRIVE

Saturday, March 26, 2011  The Prince Georges County Fire Department is making changes effective Sunday March 27th 2011 at 7am.  Those changes mean that it will take 8-10 minutes longer to get a Paramedic to your house if you live in Upper Marlboro.  This is all being done to satisfy a grievance with the Firefighters union, and not for public safety.  If you do not agree please call 301-883-5200, or your local council member 301-952-3700.

The Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department members met today to conduct a boot drive to raise money for the department.  During this boot drive flyers with the information above was handed out to citizens of Upper Marlboro.  A big thanks goes out to all members who helped out.
