The service department at Interstate Rescue is an authorized HURST service provider. The service department has a preventative maintenance program for HURST rescue tools that is done on site as well as 24 hour emergency service. We also provide loaner tools in the event of an emergency. The service department is comprised of HURST factory trained service technicians who are on call 24 hours a day. The service department also provides small engine preventative maintenance of portable pumps, fans, etc.
New to the Service Department is Airbag Hydro Testing. Airbag Hydro Testing is a much-needed service that has lacked attention and education in the area. Please see PDF document for further education.
Reel Hose Pressure Test/Inspection– $30.00 per hose
Extension Hose Pressure Test/Inspection- $20.00 per hose
Low Pressure Power Unit Service- $400.00
High Pressure Power Unit Service- $325.00
*** Standard Tool PM– Disassemble and lubricate all pivot points on cutters, spreaders, and combination tools. Torque all bolts to proper torque specifications. Inspect and operate all tools to proper operating specifications and perform operating pressure test. Inspection of all Hurst accessories. Replacement of hoses and parts as needed (customer responsible for the cost of parts).
*** Standard Power Unit PM- Replacement of reservoir gasket (as needed), spark plug, Engine Oil, & Hydraulic fluid/mineral oil. General cleaning of entire unit to include Hydraulic filter, oil pan, and exterior. Perform operating pressure and flow test. Replacement of hoses and parts as needed (customer responsible for the cost of parts).
Additional Repairs - Any additional repairs performed outside of the scheduled preventive maintenance will be billed as follows:
Hourly Labor Rate - $80.00 per hour of service plus the cost of parts.
Travel rate - $65.00 per hour of drive time to and from your location.

You will have the option to leave a message and someone will get in touch with you ASAP to see what your emergency needs are and how we can best resolve your issue. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 0800 – 1700.
Emergency Rates
Travel Rate - $100.00/hr.
Labor Cost - $135.00/hr.
(Parts are additional.)
*** Loaner tools will be provided at no charge to you as a customer. However, departments that do not use Interstate Rescue for preventive maintenance will be charged for travel and loaner tool rental.
